To view weekly articles, please visit my Fstoppers profile. I’m a senior staff writer for one of the largest online communities in the world for photographers and videographers; the site averages six million views a month. For the site I cover industry news and trends, write opinion pieces, and interview professional creatives in the industry, ranging from professional rock climbers like Cedar Wright to award-winning Sundance cinematographers like Steven Holleran. My articles have received upward of 20,000 views in just a few days and have been shared on social media by professional creatives such as Renan Ozturk and Jimmy Chin.
In 2018 I worked with Damian Battinelli to create our very own magazine - North Volume. The magazine is a bi-monthly online publication that is dedicated to promoting and supporting the art community of upstate New York by highlighting regional artists and craftsmanship. I worked with Battinelli from the magazine’s inception through the third issue. Battinelli and his team created the layout while I worked as the editor-in-chief. Our first issue received over 20,000 page views, with each subsequent issue receiving thousands more.
I’ve also freelanced as a photographer and writer for several regional magazines and newspapers in upstate New York. I’ve covered sporting events, local politics, environmental activism, notable locals, and other events. Some of these publications include the Adirondack Daily Enterprise, LOCALadk magazine, and the Press Republican. I’ve also worked as a photo editor for my college newspaper, Cardinal Points.
Currently, I work full time as the brand journalist for The Front Climbing Club and its sister company, Vertical Solutions, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
